The Catholic Society for Marriage Education.
We promote marriage and family life in accordance with the beliefs and teachings of the Catholic Church by encouraging marriage and relationship education for couples considering marriage and for married couples, throughout Australia.
Activities.
Major activities of the society include:
- MARENC - The National Conference for Marriage and Relationship Educators (MARENC)
- Threshold - A journal for marriage and relationship eductors and workers
- FOCCUS - Provisions for and National scoring of FOCCUS pre-marriage inventories.

FOCCUS
FOCCUS is a diagnostic instrument designed to help couples learn more about themselves and their unique relationship. It is not a test not meant as a predictor of success or failure in marriage. It is a tool to help couples name and work through issues before marriage.
